I noticed this again on Saturday after the season's second autocross. Not sure what it is or whether or not I should be concerned, but I'll do my best to explain the sequence of events that leads to this sound.
1. do an autocross run
2. get back in line
3. clutch in, give it some gas
4. clutch out
5. as soon as clutch pedal returns, groaning sound
Basically this only happens after an auto-x run immediately after I let the clutch out. Doesn't matter if it's in gear or not. Never heard it on the street. It's a definite groan sound coming from up front but my friend and I can't isolate it, especially since it doesn't happen around town. Sometimes it's much louder than others, and it's usually repeatable.
Ideas? MTF is <1 year old. Car runs just fine.
