Satellite receiever module installation ( I Searched)

I just ordered a satellite receiver module for my 2004 A4 Cabriolet. However, unlike the DIY write-ups there is no handle for a cubby door in my trunk. Do I have to open up (take out the grey lining in) the interior of the trunk to get to it. My radio has the SAT button on it

B7 A4 cab w/ satellite from the factory and I have the cubby hatch, but when I opened it (added ipod and needed a sat bypass) is only like a 1/4 in. deep cubby so no receiver obviously. But when I took the side panel off it was there. Since the B6 and B7 are pretty close to each other it would make sense that its in the same location.
