When is the s3 and maybe the rs3 coming to america. What are the specs gonna be on both 0-60 and engine wise? Thanks

No official word out of Audi AG as to what the next S3 would be, let alone if it'll come to the States. And of course, RS 3 is even bigger of a speculation.

S3 i wish. i'm thinking this time next year the A3 V6Q will be on the lots. and i'm thinkin about it! [;)] I need AWD here. So where do you get alcantra shift boots for the A3? AZ right?

Yes quattro A3s will be here early 2006. Perhaps even late 2005.

well...it's not really Anthony...we dun even have anything order yet...I'd say by then end of this year wel will know something on the quattro...

we looked at the A3 today and it was nice and all...but dam once you get everything fully equipped it's not cheap. [:(]

I agree. Couldn't you almost get an 05 ultrasport for the price of a loaded s3?

Yeah thats always the case though,here in europe the old S3 cost around 34K euros new at the time, for that money you could've bought something bigger, but thats not what these cars are targetted at...

Last info is "S3 will get a 2.0T FSI engine 272 bhp" with Haldex 60:40 rear- front.
planed for Europe end 2006.

The older gen. S3 was the same, came out with a 1.8T 210hp, and then 225hp. with the original 1.8T being 180hp...so the hike from 200hp to 272hp is a good one if its true...

The 2.0-liter FSI engine will get the 272 bhp by boosting the turbo pressure and by optimize pistons.

Sounds good and all, but something more radical would be nice, like a 3.6 or turbo'd 3.2. [cool] Maybe in the RS 3... [;)]

last i heard from Audi insiders was the RS3 will bring a Twin Turbo 3.2 V6 FSI reachin 350HP, thats ****ed up. [headbang]

isn't bmw coming out with a m1/m2 featuring the current m3 inline six motor. I saw an article way back on it, if this is true which i think it is cause its been mention in a few mags. Knowing audi they will try to outduel bmw.
