Pyspeed.com is the only place I'll use. The guys here that ordered from other places in the USA all had flickering or blown LEDs eventually.

Ok I'll order from them. I had a bad experience with USP and wanted to find another place that carried them. Thanks for the info!

http://www.superbrightleds.com/

Using these (http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-bin/store/index.cgi?action=DispPage&Page2Disp=%2Fspecs%2Ffestoon_3910-x6.htm#photos) for a whopping $3.70 each.

Best part is you can rotate them in the stock housings to adjust brightness. Ordered in Cool White. No error codes.

What year Avant? They are awesome on my 2011, no codes, look great. They were recommended to me by someone on here in this thread.

2008, not sure if it's pre .5 or not or if that even matters. I like them a lot, and don't mind the code--maybe one day I'll switch them out but they do for now.

Since I skipped the B7, I am not 100% sure, but I heard that one of the DIS did give a code and one did not. I can't remember if it is color gives a code and red does not or vice versa. The Hoen housings are probably your answer.

Yeah, the code's not a big deal, they do look good. They're not very high on the priority list right now :-D thanks for all your help though

I tried for a b7 a4 for a long time on bulbs and spent more than I planned.
I had tried Pyspeed and the bulb out warning was immediate.

The housing went weeks after and rusted inside.

IJDM at that time had nothing for a B7 even though the website said they did.

They sent a housing for a B6 or B8, who knows.

I went back to regular led's I ordered from tuner domes from before all this.

They threw a code before, hence the whole ordeal

I installed a resistor in the trunk after a hike at a county park and no problems.

It took ten minutes and 2 months later no problems.

Hey man what type of resistor did you use? I tried a 100ohm 1w resistor on by B7 and it stopped the flickering /pulsing but not the warning light bulb out

thanks,

I went this route and have no complaints. On B6 S4 no codes and they look badass. Never flickers.

Others have mentioned by adding a resistor you can get them to not throw the code.

Or if you don't want to mess with them we do offer a refund.

Anyone know if those RDASH ones will fit a 2005.5 B7 A4? Or maybe where to find a kit that'll fit. I need to replace the whole housing as i stupidly broke the stock one. I have a busted stock one right now and might as well replace it with LED now.

Audi themselves now do them

LHS - 4H0 943 021
RHS - 4H0 943 022

They are just under 10 pounds each

As an update to the above part numbers being fitted to a B7. They DO bring up a "BULB OUT" warning on the dash. I simply used a resistor and bridged it in place with the LED light to trick the computer. Simples :D
