after being able to smash on an ST165 i'd kill to own one. that car is a pure rallye machine. i love it. [:D] [drive]
i'd really like to see pics as well as hear about your 185, please post up when you have some time.

The next one is in June, I'll post up when the details come up.
AS far as my car goes, I have an incomplete 3rd gen 3s-gte swap (pretty much just the long block, but still the old electronics.
3" primary cat back exhaust,
whiteline rear swaybar,
Cone filter
boost at about 10psi (for now)

very nice! IMO the RC front would look great in white. just a thought for something to do after the ST205 watercooled TMIC and CT20B/CT26 Hybrid swap. oh and you absolutely can't forget about a TTE ALS. [;)] [:D]

Actually I'm getting the RC hood and bumper around the end of the month. I won't put the hood on yet, but I'll do the bumper. unfortunatley it's come of a front clip of a black car, so I'll be sportin the ricey two tone look. But the cooling of the RC bumper is so much better, it'll be worth it if I do some track days in the meantime.

that would be the Toyota Team Europe Anti-Lag System. aka The "Bang-Bang System." lmk if you'd like to know more, its some great reading.

Ah I getcha. Actually my 205 motor is already equiped with one that's not hooked up (came that way on the WRC edition) I'd just need something to run it, but I'm not interested in abusing my motor that much, and I don't think it would be worth it for what I do.

you'll need a Ti exhaust for starters. your stock system would last a day with that thing activated. in addition you'll need to severly retard your timing and run a bit higher air/fuel ratio. what this will also do is negate the vacuum effect thats created in your intake manifold when the throttle is closed.
or if you'd like to be a bit nicer to your engine you can simply utilize your EGR to keep the turbo spooled. this is a more common method of creating the same effect.
either way, it'd be a killer setup for auto-x, track days, and these romps around in the mud. [:D]

JDM motor = no EGR.
I still think I'll pass, but the stand alone EMS I've been looking at does have it as an option, so maybe then.
Right now I just want to finish the full 205 conversion and spend some much needed time on the suspension and body.
