Any TT owners care to comment of Upsolute software?

I realize that Upsolute hasn't acheived the popularity that it has with the VW croud, but I was wondering if anyone here was a friend of a friend of anyone with the software in their TT? My buddy is going to get his 02 TT 225 roadster flashed with their software, but figured I'd ask here first for any impressions. Their 180HP 1.8T software has proven to be reliable, decently powerful, and limp mode free, so I figure their other VAG software can't be that bad. It saves $200, and if there's no reason to go with the more expensive software, why not.

I've got a friend with it on his New Beetle. He likes it. He has a K04 on the car and custom software from Upsolute and its pretty good from what he says. He has his issues but what modded car doesn't.

I prefer to stick with the bigger guys just because they have alot of cars that are out there essentially testing their code for them. Upsolute seems to be an up and coming company though and I have a feeling they are going to be around for awhile.

i had the chip on my old TT180 and now on my TT225. No prob. Pulls strong! ...and YES, LIMP MODE FREE. I'm very happy with it.[tt]
