Just got the tt back from the body shop and the front running (amber) lights don't work. Checked the fuses, no specific fuse for those lights found. did check fuse # 3 "lights" 5 amp, OK.
I can't think of anything the shop might have done as the major repair was on the rear bumper. (i did see the right rear lamp assy. removed) and repaired the holes in the front bumper for the license holder. All other light work fine and infact the running lights flash when locking with the remote. Any ideas? Light switch? tia, e

There are two different lights up there. The ones flashing are the turn signal lights.

You just need to twist out the little think that looks like a plastic plug on the rear of the headlight housing and the bulb comes with it. Just put in a replacement and you'll be fine.

I'm still at work so I don't have time to be more specific but I'll post up more detailed instructions later if no one beats me to it.

Thanks, again! The basics. I would never believe that both bulbs went at once. I followed your advice on the TS flasher replacement as well! The hardest part was getting the radio out.

Sorry I didn't respond sooner... I've been crazy swamped. I haven't been able to get to my parents house to pull the lights and snap a pic. I just changed my sparkplugs in a parking lot at a local meet... heheh

You should see a big cover on the back of the headlight housing, that is for the Fogs and HIDs.

There is a small wiring harness below that that goes to a twist in plug thing, that is the flasher.

Then there is a plug looking thing with an hourglass looking grip on it. No wires going to it. That is the running light. Its a quarter turn to release it. It can be a pain to get out. When you do get it out, you will see why it doesn't have wires on the back.

Good luck. Hopefully I will get my camera from my parents house soon to snap a pic. I have to redo my intercooler pipes and do some clear corners soon so I'll take a bunch of pics and toss them on a website when I do so you guys can see where all this stuff is.
