Any of you guys have a de-badged white B5 A4 with S4 rims? I've seen it a few times at Eurosport. I saw the guy this morning while I was at Rainbows picking up breakfast and wanted to tell him to paint his lowers white to look more like a real S4 if he was going for that look.

How's the RS4 clutch and lightweight flywheel? Did you add the RS4 clutch yourself or did you buy it like that? Is it heavier or softer than stock?

Aww sweet, SF are hardcore.. Too bad, in my job I just sit behind a computer all day. [rolleyes]

I had it installed after I burnt my stock clutch at the tracks.. [:D]

The RS4 clutch grabs better and you can really feel the car jerk when u do a launch. 2nd and 3rd gears I can feel a little wheel spin. [drive] The LWFW I have I think is too light. Its something like 12lbs or somewhere around there. If I go slow and i'm in a high gear I can hear a rattling sound. Might be the FW not sure, but the car does REV a whole lot faster. [:)]

AWE Twin2 and DPs came with car. So not really sure, best time I ever got at HRP was 13.5 with all the same mods except the RS4 clutch and FW. That was with X chip. [:p]

I see a lot of posts on Labrees in AW. Where did you buy them from? Post some pics of the install if you get a chance :)

I guess Tirerack is a good place to start. Originally, I was going to get the SSR GT3s, but after hearing that SSR recently filed for bankruptcy I got kind of skittish. (My thinking was that if they were out of business, it'd be difficult to get a replacement rim if I messed one up).

To be honest, given the car that I have, I wouldn't want just any rims on it. I wanted to be somewhat unique so I therefore shied away from VOLKs and some generic manufacturers that are listed on Tirerack. I don't like BBS. HREs are way out of my price range and so are Kinesis. I looked at some WORK rims, but I didn't see anything that I liked. If I hadn't gotten these PIAAs (my friend who has them on his twin turbo G35--see SpeedHawaii's site(he has since moved to CA)--says there are only 3 sets in the state), I probably would have gotten iForged rims.

It took me awhile to figure out what the hell kind of rims I wanted to--so don't feel bad if you don't find anything right away. You want to be satisfied with your decision and don't want buyer's remorse, so don't rush yourself. [:)]

I was deciding between the V50 and the A4 Avant. Your sales people were super cool and patient with me. First time I felt bad for a salesman that I didn't buy from him. I forgot his name though. He's filipino if that helps.

Yeah I think that's him. I drove the V40 and V50 T5's. I loved the power and the price of the V50, but I ultimately chose the Avant because it was a little bigger (My wife and I just had a baby boy this past October). Plus I've been planning on getting an Avant for the past 2 years. Wife and I was also planning on taking advantage of the overseas delivery program.[:D]

So you've just had a baby (congrats, btw [up]) and you stick your child in an unsafe car? [confused] [:p] Seriously, Audis are not all that great in terms of safety. I guess the Avant is a little bigger (at least it looks bigger), but the V50 T5 hauls ass (comparably speaking, of course). [:D]

The OSD program is awesome. We've never heard a single bad thing about it from customers who've done it. I'd love to go to Sweden and pick up my car there.

Well, it turns out I can get some brand spanking new 18" VOLK LE37s for pretty cheap ($525 a piece). I'd have to wait 6 weeks for them, though. I guess that's not too bad since I hear they can take like 6 months.

The problem is, I don't really like VOLKs. I know they're good quality and everything, but they seem so common (especially on Japanese cars). Not to bash on Japanese cars, but let's face it, Hondas and Audis are totally different beasts entirely.

So now I'm thinking I'll just get coilovers and keep my stock rims. I have to make a decision really soon, though, cause my tires are almost as bald as a pornstar's nutsack.

Also, here's another thing...my front bumped is slightly f'ed up. Long story, but the company is (hopefully) paying for it. So instead of getting it painted/replaced/whatever, I'm thinking I'll just get an aftermarket bumper instead and pay whatever extra difference there might be. I looked at LLTek but is there anywhere else to get front bumpers? I'd like to look at some other stuff before I decide. I think I like the Kerscher front bumper the best out of all the ones that I saw on LLTek. Anybody have any suggestions?

immortal, you should get the volks! they're bad azz rims plus they are light as heck! dunno if you're into auto-x or 1/4 mile, but Volks are the way to go. Nothing wrong with japanese rims on a euro. It's not about Japanese rims on a Euro car--after all, the PIAA rims that I originally wanted are Japanese. It's that VOLKs seem so commonplace. The PIAA rims, on the other hand, are not nearly as common.

And now to hear that another imola yellow S4 was sporting the LE37s...geez, that makes me want to get them even less now. [:p] I don't want to be mistaken for somebody else.

I asked about iForged, but the guy quoted me a ridiculous number on those ($719 a piece or something). I told him I could get 'em cheaper off the internet and then he backpedaled and told me that iForged were junk cause they're made in the US and that the centerpiece is made in Mexico. [rolleyes]
