o well. with my rear tail tints and that dope sticker, I gained about 12hp. give or take 2hp. that stripe must add atmost 3hp... just to small for anymore horsepower

Just did it for kicks, then ended up liking it.... It doesn't look like a cheesy decal and the red matches every other red piece in the car well.

I also have clear bra on front bumper.... so I guess 2 stickers. But wait, isn't the red square around the "R" on the engine cover a sticker? Oh noes, attack of the stickers!

yeah, I was probably one of the youngest RS4 owners back in 2007 (age 19) on AZ and AW/QW. I've owned an RS4 for over 4 years now and love it (1st one: 6 months, 2nd one: 4 yrs in July).

Always kept my age on the down-low, but now I'm feeling old so I really don't care... haha

LOL, younguns.......I just turned 30 last week [;)], 2nd baby coming in 2 months, found a couple greys in my beard last night, too many joints cracking and popping with every step to ever let me fullfill my fantasy of becoming a ninja........ thats old. I got my RS a month after I turned 27, had been out of law school for 3 years and haven't regretted a single second of ownership.

Zach whats the deal with the stripe? Id like details mang. And I lied if clear bra is considered a "sticker".

People who record themselves at the track use the line as an indicator for how much the steering wheel moves through the course. Ideally, when you're reviewing your laps you want as little steering wheel movement as possible. With less steering wheel input, you're typically carrying more speed through the corners. Most people who put it on do it to look "cool" though.

I doubt you have ever driven a new RS4 (I'm betting you're not the 1st owner of yours since you were only 13yrs old when your car came out [>_<] ) or a carbon cleaned one for that matter.

Trust me, your car is no more special than you are. Some definitely build up worse than others but you really want to look into a cleaning sometime soon. You'll love the difference.

Although there is definitely some HP to be re-claimed from a cleaning, it's not as crazy as your making it out to be. Most post dynos show about a 15 or so WHP increase after a good cleaning, which is definitely noticeable, but it doesn't hinder the car too too much. FYI, I do clean every spring, and this time intake spacers are going in as well. ;)

No, great relationship with the service manager. Trick is to get them to scope the mani, and since there will almost always be carbon, the scope warrants the cleaning.
