Just found out today my car is on a boat finally and is due to arrive in the Houston,TX port sometime around 1st of FEB. Anybody else on A boat with similar stats? My SA didn't know what boat it was. Or can any one tell me a way by process of elimination to figure out which one it is? Muchas gracias

When my X3 was in transit, my BMW SA was able to give me my VIN, and I was able to track the shipment online.
I took my X3 VIN, and punched it into the Transport Tracking site for BMW. From there, I got more specific information on the dates for the X3, the name of the ship, and the voyage number.
It left Germany aboard the Liberty. The shipping line was Wallenius Wilhelmsen. It stopped in Southampton Port to offload Bimmers headed for the UK, and pick up Minis headed to US. It turns out that my friends Mini was loaded on the same boat, and they traveled the high seas together and arrived at our BMW/Mini dealer on the same Car-carrier.
It was cool to be able to track the location of the ship, and cross-reference the port location on Google Earth, where you could see test tracks used to do minor tests upon arrival or departure.
I am not sure if this kind of tracking is offered by Audi.
