I wish I could afford a 2010 S-LINE, but well ... life sucks [=(] i still need money to eat lol. Now i was thinking of getting this 09 for 30k and doing the following upgrades
1. adding the the 18" 5-SPOKE wheels, I like the look of those, best stock wheels IMO $1000
2. maybe throw in some shiny new exhaust tips to make that ass look better - $100
3. retrofitting the LED brake lights from the 2010's is that possible? how much?
4. tint, no idea how much this costs lol im a noob to this
5. buying a new iPhone 4 for my navigation needs [:D] although the 3rd gen MMI looks better + that bigger screen size
hopefully i can end up with something like this:

im pimpin on a budget, what do you guys think? 30K for the car and maybe an additional 3K to have is look just about the same level of a 2010 Premium+ that would have had to pay 46K+ instead. plus the ladies wont even notice the difference, my gf loves those LED's [>_<]

tint = 200-300. don't go with the cheapest shop, go with reputation. i know a guy in mississauga if you need, he should do it for $230 or so. was the best price i could find, using a name tint. (sunguard or solarguard or something, I had it on my last car for 5 years with no problems).
wheels = I'd go for a set of VMR 19s (or 18s if you must) but for not-much-more-money than your estimated 1K, it'll look way more 'pimp' than any stock wheels.
exhaust tips = looks better, esp. for $100. but they go black almost immediately after you put 'em on.
those rear tails are gonna cost you. from what i last read on the forum, it'll be hundreds, and i don't know of anyone who got it properly working yet. there's a thread around here on it, kufatec (?) adapters involved etc. someone chime in here if my information is dated...
i'd make tint your #1 priority. I got 20% tint all aroudn and it makes the car look soo much better. 35% if 20 is too dark for ya. I haven't been haggled by cops or anything yet ** i also don't drive like a dbag heh.
and just browse around / use the search function of the forums for all this stuff. you'll learn a lot in no time.

Are you going to get the car from German Star Motors? I think most of their cars are US cars. Might want to check out a CPO at a dealership and get the CPO warranty on top of the existing warranty. Also, I do not have any experience with them but from what I remember, their reputation is not that good so be warned. You can decide for yourself by checking out this post in the redflagdeals forum : http://forums.redflagdeals.com/german-star-motors-toronto-583748/
1) For wheels, pretty much what hender said.
2) for the exhaust tips, you might be able to find some used ones in the classifieds section but you should probably get them from the dealer for about 130 after tax. But it's just so hard keeping them shiny..mine get black almost right after they're cleaned.
3) Led tail lights retrofit: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/249442-LED-rear-lights-part-numbers
4) check out http://www.auto-links.ca/. I got my tints done there and they did an excellent job for an excellent price. I got 32% and it seems a little too light for me. Normal tints will cost you about $150++ and ceramic tints $240++
You might also want to consider the glossy black front grille/ s-line front bumper/ ecodes/ votex rear diffuser

Mine are working 100% and so are dieatomic's. OP: you can PM me if you do decide to do the tail lights as there are a few things you should know first. It's probably gonna cost you about $800-900.

Thanks for the feedback guys,
I have been lurking on these boards for the past few days now lol, just hadn't posted or introduced myself, i've been searching for a good and active Audi community to join and i think i found one, and there are a few people here from my city @hender too so that's great!
the great news is all the upgrades that i am planning are do-able [:D] but i might have to watch out for these German Star Motors guys, i have had similar experiences with Canadian Fine Motors last summer when i was interested in getting a Lexus IS250 last summer, im glad i changed my mind and waited it out because legroom in that chick-car just blows [>_<].
Notice how German Star Motors never take the pictures of the cars on site at their showroom? its always at some public parking lot haha. look through the dash, you can see its just some random mall, that's not their fleet of cars you see in the background ... hmm why go though all that trouble

probblly gonna cost more for tires/rims FYI. go do a search for 255/35/19 high performance tires.. aren't gonna to be 250/tire unless you know someone to get you them at cost.
side note, don't forget to toss on 13% tax on it!

@neptunesfinest does installing the LED's void the warranty from Audi?

Welcome to AZ. Re taillights: some people prefer the '09 over the newer LEDs; it's a pricey upgrade for what you end up with. I'd suggest a stage1 ECU tune for some go with your show. You'll appreciate it every time you accelerate & have some cash left over.

nope. but (and i mean no offense by this) if your initial idea was to go to canadian tire and find the cheapest mats possible, i don't think the weathertech's are going to be down your alley...
you pay mucho more, but it also protects mucho more (better).

no offence taken @ hender, i had actually actually looked up the mats on the Weathertech, but they were around 100 for a whole set, i just thought i could get them cheaper, i didn't say i wanted to throw in cheap stuff in the car tho [up]

yeah man, i don't think they are a vendor for the weathertechs, but there are some in the GTA and i know some people have paid less than the online MSRP.
i luckily got mine from dan here (promoda) as he had an extra set!

update:
I found another listing from German Start Motors, this one is very recent, probably from yesterday. What do you think? the mileage is so low, and yet its only $36,000 with navigation and everything included. [confused]
also can you guys from the GTA refer any good mechanics? does it have to be a mechanic that specializes in Audi's better?

i cant see any s-line badging. it looks loke the sport editions before s-line?
where im lost is the price vs mileage, or maybe i have been looling at too many audi-dealership inflated prices

Probably if you tell them about it...I doubt they'd notice on their own. Also, regarding the price you could always source used lights like I did and bring the price down that way.

I found 3 of them on eBay and the 4th I bought new from europrice. Some may disagree but I think the LEDs make the whole back of the car look A LOT better. Definitely worth every penny for me.
No 2009 s-line B8 in Canada. And, yes, that is an 09 sport. Difference being the bumpers, side sills, rear valance, wheels & alcantara interior.
