Steering Wheel Change For Heated A3 Flat Bottom

Got my eyes on a A3 8P Flat Bottom multi fuction steering wheel with steering wheel heater.
Need some info on the if I can just switch out the wheel and the heater will work?
I beleive the button to activate the steering wheel heater is on the back of the wheel, like on the A6 models?

Basically does any one know if this is something that has to be activated or can be activated via VAG-COM on my 2010 A4?

No it's not a straight swap. The main hub plug is different with the heater, there is more wires. I looked at the A6 swap and it for sure wasn't possible without some serious rewiring of the main plug to "make it" work. Not to say it's not possible but not plug and play.
