Important question about HID upgrade

I am new to Audizine. I have a stock 98 A6 with halogen projectors. Do I need to buy HID projectors or can I just get a kit?

If I need projectors, which are the best? Bosch, Valeo or someone else?

you don't need to buy the projectors. you can just buy the HID kit.

Thanks for the info guys, but i have a small problem.

2.7T says i dont need the projectors, while the article on the link SwimmerTy gave me says I either need new projectors or housings. Who is correct? I want to make the right decision the first time. Sorry to be bugging you guys.

I believe that you use the H1 bulbs for the low beam so all you need to do is simple buy the H1 HID conversion kit , here is the link you can go check it out
