I "got" this updated Navigation disk for my S5 and was wandering if anyone can confirm if in fact it is 2010 and also what did the latest update actually does?

This is the version it says on the mmi:

usa_11000_2341

2080/20090228131812

Thanks

I'll have to look at the exact code on my update disc that I also "got" but it was a pretty smooth process. Basically, you have to insert the disc into the drive (VAG to eject) and it does its thing. Also, I'm not sure how you "got" your disc image but it needed to be burned on a single layer DVD+R disc in order for the driver to read it...... -R won't work.

I already burned it... I know the process as I did the same thing in the past for the RNS-E on my Rs4. You just have to have the rights software :)
The disk works, it updated and installed the update... i'm just curious what the update was and if in fact the version is the latest one.

Thanks.

You might want to ask in the A6 forum - you're in the A4 B8 forum [facepalm]

Did you notice a big difference with your update, or was it minimal? I've called NavTeq about this before and they told me that there weren't really any documented changes to my area (Vancouver, B.C.) I'm wondering if anyone else has had a more "rewarding" experience with the update?
