2014 VW Microbus

Will it actually happen this time? If so, we'll be trading in my wife's van when it arrives. It would be cool if it had a split windscreen and had the v-shaped paint scheme. I've got two kids and the A4 can be a little cramped sometimes. I'd much rather be caught driving this than my wife's Routan. What do you guys think?

Finally, personally I think they messed up with the Routon. We used to have a 91 VW Vanagon. That thing was a tank, survived so many accidents.

I would definitely buy that. I'm not a minivan fan, but i've always loved the Eurovan's and this looks like a futuristic Eurovan... kinda.

Disappointing to me, it could have been done so much better. I would've kept the styling and exterior a lot closer to the classic and thrown in a first class modern interior.

As much as I want to like it, I just don't. At least from those pictures, my wife and I are casually mini van shopping as we also have 2 kids and the A4 can become cramped very quickly. Obviously we want to get something before 2014, but I don't know that I would take the VW over either the Honda Odyssey or Toyota Sienna. Now, an original microbus is a different story, but that is on the list of multiple vehicles I would love to own if I could afford one.
