Xenon swap out?

I am considering removing my Xenon HL's and replacing them with standard halogens - I've read many posts about Xenon problems with no apparent solutions and Audi's ignore the problem attitude which I find very unprofessional and unethical.
I just don't want to start down the road of trying to fix thier faulty system especially considering the extensive costs and the fact that there does not exist any solution to the inherant problems.
My question is: will I need to replace the wiring harness if I do the down grade?

For the low beam you would have to change something because I think halogen uses H7, and the projectors use D1S. Its not worth the trouble to go through all that.
