So stoked right now[:D] Was not even looking to get a new car, but it was too nice to pass up. Specs are 85' Carrera, Guards Red over Black, race exhaust, chip, lowered, 7" and 9" wheels with the stock 6's as well, factory sport seats, original paint, all three keys, original books in both English and German and extensive records.
It looks so funny next to my other cars. The Avant looks like a Suburban next to it. I will get some better photos this weekend with some of my other cars for perspective. A recent dyno showed 207 HP to the wheels. Stock was 207 at the crank. Not too bad for a 25 year old car especially since it only weighs around 2500 lbs.

Nice pickup, I've been feeling like my avant needs a stable mate also. I'm sure you'll have a great time with that car. If that was in my garage, I'd have a hard time deciding which car I wanted to work on!

Nice classic porsche.... isn't it a "SuperSport" because of the tail? Air cooled with a race exhaust ....I bet it makes a "bit" of noise :)

My uncle had an '85 Guards Red 911 Targa. Beautiful cars. I always wanted to buy it from him...but he dumped it one day without even calling me. Bastard!

No, the guy is a doctor with Sharp. Come over and check it out next time you are around.

I have not heard the term Super Sport for it. It is a Euro car so there are some differences that I may not be aware of. The sound is intoxicating[evilsmile]
The car actually rides better than my M3 which is lowered as well.

Awesome you'll have to catch one of the Porsche runs up Palomar..... There's normally one on New Years day. And yes they make A4's look huge in garages.

I've a GT3 RS sorta..... split up into a 6th, 5th, and 3rd grader..... Maybe in 7 years I'll trade them in, for now it's a 996.
I'm thinking of a nice pre-73 roller to fix. I love the aircooled 911's yours looks great! Let me know if you want to go to Palomar.
You have to get on Rennlist.com too..... good group of guys there.

i was never really a fan of porsches until i saw that video of yellowbird at the nurburgring, at which point they went up like 10 notches in my book.
