I'll get some pics later - Looks like a new headlight and new bumper though - everything else looks pretty intact, maybe a new fender if they can't bang out the small bubble in it (small!).

I'll probably get s-line bumper though, and insurance isn't involved - so that makes it a great deal better

I just got rear-ended so I feel for ya. It was a sad Holiday for sport package b8s :(
+1 for the s-line bumper. I think I'm gonna see if I can free money an s-line rear bumper/valence on this person's insurance company's tab.

Anyone know the cheapest place to get all the parts (heat shield, valence, etc.) in order to install a dual AWE exhaust on a non-s line bumper?

Okan, too bad man. Get those e-codes already.

PG2373, Europaparts.com sold me everything I needed.
Seemed to be cheaper than dealer.

Went to get an estimate. They said the bumper and fender can be repaired. The only thing need replacing is the headlight.

I have no idea which way I am going to go for repairing this. I could throw done more money and get some great new accessories, or I could keep it really cheap for everything.

I also got rear-ended this afternoon by a young lady who was talking on the cellphone while driving. The valence needs to be replaced, rear bumper could be repaired. Estimated cost: $733. I am waiting for her insurance company's claim adjuster's call for approval.

I got a check for $600.00 and applied it towards a new exhaust and Valence.
Not sure how bad your bumper is scraped.

Ah so much terror!

You know what I hate more then having got into an accident or having to pay the funds for such a thing, is having to drive around with a damaged vehicle. I feel embarrassed at times, and can't really enjoy driving my car around, which I usually enjoy every minute of.

Glad to hear there no no serious injuries to all of you guys in accidents. Pretty sure the cars will look as nice or better when you get them back from the body shop

Didn't you just replaced your mirror clips awhile ago?

I pulled the PDF parts list off AWE's website since I'm about to do the same. My total with NC tax was about $156 through my parts dept at employee cost. That's about $50 less than the total provided based on the PDF. That's a dual outlet set up, not a quad tip.

Pictures of the disaster. It will be around 1g to get it fixed as estimated. Hopefully having it all taken care of by the end of next week.

Which headlights are you going with?
Xenons or Halogen?
Going to do some headlight baking in the oven?

Some headlight heat gunning actually - just halogens

There was some thread where a guy put LEDs into the Halogen housing.
May be worth you while to experiment.

Good luck.

UPDATE

So the car went into the shop today. It was delayed due to to a weeks vacation in D.C. I wish I was able to get it down then, but it just didn't work out.

I will have the car repaired to the way it was. I have plans for the ambers and the splitter when it comes out though - as well as an experiment with new headlight film.

I should have the car back Wednesday or Thursday - a quick repair thank god, because I can't stand driving this truck around.

I also just hit 15k, so I will have this service done.

All in all the car should be 100% and running better than ever fairly soon.

Mine was about 3600 in damage but hey now I have a shop light made out of my old slightly damaged headlight and also a grill assy hanging on my garage wall to remind me not to park near large 4WD trucks.

Got it back today, still needs a wet sand and a buff out - will go back monday for it. I'm not too happy with the job they've done, but it's not the end of the world.

I won't be going back to this shop, lets just put it that way.

Pics of the job will be going on soon.

I took my bumper off today. It seems as though they didn't actually replace it. I called the body shop, because that is what we agreed upon, and what I paid for. They didn't deny anything. Still deciding upon a new bumper or some cash in my pocket. What bullshit, good business isn't corrupt business
