Had the chance to take some pics of my buddies A6. He just got 19" 3 piece OZ wheels put on, so we cruised down to the beach area and got some nice shots.

Yeah aside from the badges that's a damn clean A6! [cool][up] Great choice on the wheels, very hot.

outside looks good. very clean. inside is a bit ricey, what with the steering wheel, gauges, and shifter knob right next to the wood.

It's ricey because he's driving an A6, hell I'd call it ricey in an S4.
Then again that is decently expected from someone who puts an S6 badge on a sedan.
Any go fast bits at all?

looking real good. The only thing I would say is that he should upgrade to some nicer gauges. It seems like he went all out with everything else, and then put some of the cheapest gauges available in. If he wants 52mm, he should check out the new autometer nexus, they are NICE.

MMM, Nexus gauges are sweet...It would put the finishing touches to the A6 for sure...and yeah Im not feeling the badge, if its not an S then its a bit poserish.

Stripped down e30 or e36 3 series, if you want to go for a euro but that's a stretch.
Sorry if I got a bit testy, the exterior of the car looks amazing, I was just a bit annoyed that the interior looks like he went to an import jap tuner car show and bought everything that looked nifty.
I just don't think it looks clean at all, especially when compared to the exterior. It almost looks like 2 different cars.

he owns a shop and gets stuff for free so he puts it in his car to show off at shows. i liek the steering wheel and shift knob personally i think it makes it look more sporty. Even though it's a luxury sedan he has it tuned more for speed and racing

Well if he gets it for free than that's all good. Makes it much better.
I think it looks off to me because it's this skinny little steering wheel surrounded by a big bulky luxury interior. Plus the aluminum just doesn't quite fit.
Maybe if he painted the aluminum part flat black it would blend in more and still have a racing look to it.
Quick and dirty PS but something like this:

i like it allot, sept the steering wheel. i would have kept the stock one. but thats just me.
and the middle guage should be black to match the rest.
but aside from that
SWEET CAR!

Do the A6 wings differ any from the regular A4 as far as width? And does anyone know where i can purchase one for a 04 for a good deal? thx
