I am, but haven't read Book 7. I have a problem with finishing books/tv series, etc. Feels like once they're done, they're gone.

Yes, you have been living under a rock. It's the 7th and final Harry Potter.

It's the only book in the series I actually bothered to read. After seeing The Half Blood Prince (watched it again last night just to refresh myself), I HAD to know how it was going to end!

That's too bad. I think the quality of the films (visually speaking) has steadily improved with each release.

Unfortunately, the first 3 books are for kids. It's only from 3 and up that it started to get serious. Similarly for the movies.

I want this damn thing to end. I don't see why there's so much hype around this series.

This is just wrong.. The books are SOOO much better than the movie. I am very excited as well. I keep listening to the audio books in the car. If things go as planned, I will finish hearing book 7 (for the ump-teenth time) Monday. That puts me back in the theater just after the crowd dies down.

Exited to see it[>_<]. Its gonna take like a week for me though. This is a small town with only one good movie theatre. Hence, EVERYONE is going this week. Damn kids.

Oh, I'm wrong for only reading the last one, but it's ok for your lazy ass to LISTEN to them?! =-O

Let's start with his keyboard.
I keep this in mind when reading HP. Imagine the possibilities.

That always gets me. It's not like there are only 55 seats and then its gone. I did that 'wait in line for tickets' thing once and decided it was just not worth it for a movie that will be playing every hour, every day, for the next 8 weeks. More power to them!

“Don’t put your wand there, boy!” roared Moody. “What if it ignited? Better wizards than you have lost buttocks, you know!”
-Alistor "Mad Eye" Moody, Chapter 3, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
That was said in response to Harry putting his wand in his back pocket and may add little value to this discussion. [>_<]

Exactly. I may see it today, but not likely. Headed to the LA Auto show instead. More likely is I"ll wait a week, then go see it! I'll have perfect seats, won't have to wait in line, and will still be pretty satisfied.

I'm going today at 4:40, hopefully late enough to avoid the people who wanted to see it early as possible and early enough to beat the kids/adults going after school/work. We'll see...

Read the first two books, on the 3rd, and the books are better than the movies, I hope 7 part 1 and 2 are good.

Just finished watching the movie and it was incredible seeing the book "come to life" for the first time. I thought maybe it wouldn't be as much fun since I knew what was going to happen, but I was wrong. July 2011 can't come soon enough!

The target demographic for the series has now grown into their mid twenties.
I was just flipping through the channels and the Half Blood Prince is on.....I can see the appeal, but I was 33 when the first one came out. It didn't really grab me and now I find them hard to follow.
