View Full Version : Thinking of selling B7 A4 Avant...price question.

Light Silver Metallic. 6SPD Manual. ~38k on the clock. Stock 17" w/Blizzaks and VMR708s in 18" with Kumho SPTs. Lowered on Koni/Eiabch.
KBB says $22,500. Car is still under factory warranty until 12/23/2010 and it has a CPO that is non-transferable.
I'm thinking that I want $24k for it, am I crazy to ask that? Should I just keep it for another year?

I don't have any now. If its not dark I'll take some when I get home. Otherwise I'll post some up tomorrow.
From looking for a4 avants for my wife i'd say your in the ballpark since you're tossing in the winters.For what it's worth all the one's i've looked at from dealers are quite a bit above that,on the other side though your price is also in the same ballpark as b7 s4 avant owners from private party[confused]soooo start high(it is a 6mt)....you can always go down,can't ever go up

Really? All the B7 S4s I've looked at with low miles were in the 38k-42k range.
Sorry,should have made mention that the ones i've seen in the mid 20's definitely have alot more mileage than yours.toss up either way you look at it i guess.

Seems fair to slightly high, you can pick-up a higher milage S4 Avant for a little (8-10K) more. If it is really, really clean you should be fine.
Why are you selling it? Is it chipped???

Just traded it in. Got $21k. Keeping it in the family. Picking up this beauty next week.

If this is the 2.0TFSI have them check the cam follower before you take it from them. No matter what!
Big hole means you replace the cam and fuel pump at a cost of ~$3k.
No good.
