hello.
i currently own an a4 and i'm selling the rims from it which are FLIK WASP 18inch offset 33 to my friend who owns an a6 2.7T. we tried to fit the front rims on today and they didnt clear the brakes due to offset of the rim. if he was to use a spacer for the front would they clear? i noticed on edgeracing website that the flik arctic fit s4 brakes with the offset of 35.

so what kind of spacers should i get for his car in order for the fronts to clear? thank you i appreciate it

your wasp have a lip dont they? if that's probably why it's got a lower ET than the arctic (33 vs 35) putting a 5mm spacer might push that wheel out further (28mm ET) that would be bad as he MIGHT get rubbing. how much is it hitting right now? do u think a 5 mm spacer would rectify this? or more?

yea i doubt that he would rub because he has the stock suspension on the car and he isnt planning on modifying the ride height. but i'm not sure what kind of size spacer to get.

the only way to know is put the wheel up to the hub see how much the gap is before it hits the calipers...that will give u a rough estimate.
