Im liking it more and more. Ok, no news to report but its just getting better and better to drive. Im getting a baseline for gas mileage. Stock I could get 280 - 300 miles a tank. So far, its on par if not slightly better, unless Im just better at squeezing more miles out of a tank. Of course, this is inconclusive still but Ive had a few drinks and Im restless.

You should be getting better gas milage with the tune. If it is just using more boost pressure that was being wasted before, it should require less throttle.

So what's the deal with the 91 tune? They have said in other threads that there was a programming glitch in the 100 & 91 tunes. Does this affect your tune? Or/and all other Cali tunes that they have done with the 91 oct?

No problems on Ca 91.

It appears that I am getting better mileage, but like I said, its still too soon to say for sure but so far this 1/4 tank shows there is.

Do you have the 91 tune? If so you need a reflash from what Keith said they discovered.

Not all ECU codes need a reflash. His car had a pre and post flash dyno any everything is perfectly on par as far as power increase is concerned. (67 WHP increase)

Jimmy's car is good. There were a few ecu's that were shipped back to the customer without the ecu being flashed properly. Only affected 91 & 100 octane tunes.

Seriously. I like it better now that I've had it for a week. Now I know the sweet power spots.

It's too bad this forum has such little traffic, because threads like this get lost and don't get answered.

I am curious about this tune and any issues that may be associated.

Thanks for the bump I confess I don't come here often.

The first handful of 91 and 100 octane flashes had the remapping of the engine timing in, but NOT the supression of the supercharger's bypass valve's opening, so the extra boost was still being bled off and was not present. APR stepped in very quickly and addressed this, since they know with 100% certainty, every ECU they flashed and what it was flashed with, they were able to contact anyone with the sub-par ECU flash and get them fixed.

No damage was done to any ECU, and this was all corrected within just a few days, the actual impact was likely less than a dozen vehicles before it was caught.
