I'd like to replace the exisiting rear red LED turn signals on my 2011 Q5 with amber ones. I was following my wife home the other day and noticed how hard it was to see the red turn signals with the red brake lights. Amber would greatly improve the visibility but was wondering if any one else had done this mod. I've seen some post for some of the none SUV models but the Q5 has very different rear lights than the cars.

you'll have to get Euro assemblies in order to get amber turns.

I have Euro tails on my Passat wagon. (US tails also have red turn signals.... damn Germans....)

My guess is that this is how they keep the markets separated AND it's probably cheaper having an all red tail assembly.

So to get the amber blinkers, does that mean you have to get them at a European Audi dealer? Or is there some way to order them in the US? I'd like (actually prefer) the amber blinkers too.

One resource is oemplus they carries euro parts for VW/Audi, else check eBay both .com and .de, there you can also sometimes find what you are looking for.
