This is actually pretty good idea. My only concern is what is the damn battery run out of charge?

Magnetic stripes are passive devices, and unless the card has some sort of wifi connectivity (which I doubt), then there should be no worry of anything like that.
haha i think hackers already know how to get CC info...

i think the first of the two cards has better potential of hitting the market and being successful.

The second card makes me think of Xzbit.... "Yo, we heard you like PIN numbers. So we got a PIN for your PIN".... Neat stuff though!

that first one is sick as hell. it would be cool if you could have two accounts on one card with a pin, and you could have a duplicate card so if you lost one, you wouldn't have to worry about canceling it and getting a new one. you just have the backup.

the second card is great in case you lose it. I know plenty of people who have lost the cars while out at a bar, realized the next day, then had to call the CC company to find out some asshole ran up a tab on it, then cancel the card and dispute the charges. With the passcode activated card, if you lose it chances are you wont have any BS charges.
