noob question on spacers

If you where to have to use spacers on the front for your rim to fit, would you want the same spacers for the back or no. I was wondering because spacers would push your rim out towards the fender right. So wouldn't it look stupid with the front out towards the fender more than the rear. Correct me if i am wrong. The reason i ask is because i am still waiting to get rid of my a4 and pick up either an s4 or TT and if i go with the s4 i would need spacers to keep my rims or sell and buy more. Thanks for in input in advance.

I have 8mm spacers in front and 10mm spacers in rear. I had first the front spacers only, but I wanted to balance the look so I got the 10mm spacers to rear and now it's perfect.

It was not THAT bad to have just the front spacers, but it was annoying enough for me. [:D]
