Long story short, the two bulbs that light up my license plate are burned out. I tried unscrewing the screws from one and ended up stripping them. In my attempt to break the screw head off I ended up cracking the cover. So I need a cover to replace the old one and need help taking off the screws from both sides. Where can I buy the covers for cheap and buy replacement LEDs? It looks like I have to end up breaking the other cover to get to the other bulb as well. I would rather wire up LED strips or bulbs than regular bulbs that blow out.

Please let me know where I can get the covers and LED lights/strips. I need to get this issue resolved ASAP. The last thing I need is a ticket for that on top of the ticket I'll be getting for when the cop pulls me over for my tints.

What model Audi do you have? I didn't have to unscrew anything to replace my bulbs with the LED's, the whole light unit just pops out. As far as where to get the LED's, several of us have used extremebrightleds.com and spoke to Jacky Ng. He can set you up with the correct error cancelling LED's for your Audi.

Here are detailed instructions on removing the old lights if you need them, but if your model has screws then it probably won't help.
