Actually, it was damn smooth when I drove from Germany to France on the Autobahn a few years ago. Maybe that's the part they just repaved. It really makes me wonder why CalTrans can't repave a stretch of road at a time and not just holes they find in the ground. O yea, my taxes aren't even going to fixing roads... but useless crap I don't even use.

Wow I am actually kinda dissapointed, the RS6 didn't really pull ahead at all except from the CSL. It is impressive how well that I6 kept up with the V8 and the turbo V8, but I would have thought the turbo V8 would pull away from the M5's normal V8.

Actually, the Autobahn is the most well maintained highway than any other in the world. The reason for this is because of all the safety precautions that are needed for high speed traffic. One small crack in the tarmac, and that section of highway will be fixed. I remember when i went on the Autobahn i was highly impressed with it. There are more accidents on any US interstate highway per 100 mile than the Autobahn.
