Disappointed with some of the "Bigger" teams performances, but overall enjoying it to the fullest. Brazil is my number 1 team to win, Argentina is a close second, and then Spain. You never told us who you're rooting for!

i have seen 8 seconds of it. NOT a soccer fan... but the irony of NIGeria vs. GERmany had me rolling.
sadly enough, i hadn't realized it till this year that the world cup is every 4 years.. I totally thought it was like an anual event. OOPS!

France is a big disappointment...early exit...I dont think USA will advance...it will be Slovenia and England....overall the world cup has been enjoyfull and I am rooting for HOLLAND and also ITALY

No other sport fields national teams and smartly only every 4 years.
Sorry, Azzurri goes home today[=(] No Forza.
Many of the 'elite' European teams have tanked in first round.
My UK friend on here tells me England v. Germany will be like WW II all over again[:o] - just what we need.
Don't expect USA to get past Ghana this w/e.

Nailed it. What's your guess for who will be in the finals/who will win? I'm feeling Germany might take the whole thing, but hoping for Spain to pull through.

I'm a big fan
The world cup is the most expensive show in the world
The first stage (groups stage) was so so, but from quarter finals on it has become very interesting, with good football and lots of goals
My bet would go to Dutchland or Deutschland, but Uruguay and Spin seem formidable contenders
Today Argentina out by 4 german goals... WOW :O
(same happende to England: 4 geman goals)
I am happy to see this worldcup is that of the team play, and not the "stars" one (Cristiano Ronaldo, Messi, Rooney, etc)
Team play is becomming more and more important.
Consistent team play is MORE important than a single lonely star in the team

I usually don't watch much soccer, but my roommates and I have really been getting into watching all the matches.
The only team I have left to root for is the 1/4 German in me :)

I didn't nail it today/yesterday - I was 1-3 in the quarters.[evilsmile]
Germany takes the Cup.[:)]

Glad to see Italy and France go, of course.
Rooting for Germany - disciplined defense, and Podolski/Klose/Schweinsteiger are an unstoppable strike force. So far so good
