For the past 3 years I've been a member of the STL chapter of the BMW club. Why? Because it was the only way I could be assured I would get into the performance driving schools put on by the local Porsche and BMW clubs. It also saved you some entry money.
As of today that has changed!
I just got an answer from the head of the local chapter of the Porsche Club that if we start an Audi club we will get the same treatment.
I will ask the BMW club people the same, but this is good enoough for me to get the ball rolling.
I will work on discounts from various local orgs. I think tint crafters provides 10% off to some local clubs. Ronal offers a deal on the national level, etc.
The application for a local club requires the signature of 12 members of the Audi Club of North America. If you are already a member, I just need a signature on the local club application. I posted the link for those who are not yet members. I need 11 more signatures of Audi Club members on an application, two of which need to volunteer to be officers. You can sign up ($44) and add one family member over 18 for free. I think that will get us to 12 faster.
If you are willing to do this or have questions, please let me know.
Here's the link to join the national audi club:
