engine light

I accidently left my light on the other day and went to start it and nothing so i got a buddy of mine to give me a jump and now today the Malfunction indicator lamp came on and this damn hick town of lubbock texas doesnt have an audi dealer and no other shop has a diagnostic. So does anyone have any suggestions on what it is?

The car could have thrown any # of codes when restarted. Best to try to find a vag and clear them or just hold off till you can get it checked out.

You can't clear the light without a dealer or a vag.

You can throw a bunch of codes when the battery is dead. All depends on how dead it was and what got enough juice to not complain.
