Yeah, I don't like the cheese shredders either....the S-Line wheels are much nicer IMHO. We had to have our dealer locate a car for us solely because my wife refused to take a car with the shredders.

lol "cheese shredders"? Didn't know they were being called that..... I was just interested because the RS4's are not the easiest to clean. I figured the RS6 would be simple to clean.

Cheese shredders rock!.Seriously expensive option over here.I too have the seven double spokes and i wanted to change to some shredders but cost about $2400 to change.I then wanted some TT tubo vanes, but they wont fit!!So im stuck with what ive got!

I like the cheese shredders, but it's all down to personal taste. The wheels you have are a bit easier to clean though.

Off-topic: every time I see an avant it makes me wonder why the heck we dont have a dual outlet exhaust on sedans =(

The front looks pretty flush, but the rear looks like it could use something. From the picture that is...

5mm in the rear may be all you can do... Not sure though

I went back and forth on what wheels to go with and ended up with the "cheese shredders." I love 'em. I also think the color of the car determines which wheels look nicer IMO. I like the 7-spoke of light colors but the five spokes on dark (like phantom black ;)). Plus, the "cheese shredders" are so unique.
