The 1st week I got my car, a bug rolled up next to me and wanted to run. He was trying to ask me what I had under the hood. I just laughed and stepped on. Actions speak louder than words.

BTW...I'm not hating on beetles. I know you can hook em up as much as an A4. But this guy was all riced out. Red paint, but with more white decals than paint showing. Some kinda over the top interior. All I remember now is 4 giant gauges down the A-pillar + fire extinguisher on the pass side.The usual widemouth exhaust tip and chrome rims.
If he actually dropped a few buck on the engine he probably could've hung. I was pretty much stock at the time.

there is a guy near me who re-did his whole bug to the a 911... 911 brakes, 911 wheels, lowered, it looks pretty sweet... and he has a very simple lip kit on it... if i see him i'll try to take a pic or two
