I think there is only one right now. Which ones are you considering? The matrix one is due out in "two weeks"[headbang]

If anyone know anything about other intakes I'd love to know about them. For that matter, I'd love to know more about the Matrix one...

I wonder how the matrix will compare to this one..$350http://www.stratmosphere.com/hyperflow.htm

Wait for the Matrix one. You won't be sorry. R&R that went into this sounds like the 'only' one to get.

it seems that the hyperflow only adds 3-4hp, which is not much at all...It is not a true CAI, and its aesthetically ugly. Wait and see what Matrix musters up...that's what i'm doing.

I have the hyperflow and I like it a lot. adds about 10-12 hp you can definitely feel. It IS a CAI (you can feel the difference with your hand) and aesthetically it looks the same because it sits under the OEM plastic cover. the biggest plus is it puts that extra 'kick' in the powerband around 2900 rpm versus @ 3500 with the stock setup.

Matrix may have something better but its been months...

I emailed matrix and they told me that they are coming along nicely with their TRUE cold air intake, and that it will likely cost about the same as the stratmosphere. They are currently claiming about twice the gains seen by their competition, which, if it turns out to be true, would mean around 20bhp. I'll pay $350 for 20bhp...

That breaks down to only $17.50 per BHP. If true, Best MOD I've seen yet for this car. Get this thing put together already!...

I just got the Hyperflow one. I'll get to drive it Monday (being installed with my full Milltek non-res, full GIAC, and short shifter). But if Matrix's is better, I'll put that one on there and offer the Hyperflow to someone on here for a few bucks. Do we need to get in line for this thing? Jeremy, you watchin this?

I heard the hyperflow and it sounds pretty nice but I notice on the matrix site they say you get 20 hp IF you have a full exhaust hmm maybe with the hyperflow you would get the same if you also have a full exhaust.

Wow, Matrix has really set themselfs up for a trap. Their intake better be the best thing since the release of the car. Everyone is so hyped up on it.
