Has anyone done this install?
I did it last night, but was unable to figure out how to hook it up so that sound comes out of the car speakers. So I just used the speaker that it came with.

Problem solved. Got a little help from someone that did a writeup on the install, now it works perfectly.

Sweet. Can you give us a little narrative? Where did you put it, in the console? Under the armrest? Does your car have the Onstar Telematics already? Mine does, which includes the phone. I wonder if it will make it harder or easier on me to install Bluetooth. Congrats on the successful self-install.

The install was easier than I thought it would be. The handsfree kit allows you to speak through a mic that I placed to the left of the stereo and the output is throught the car stereo speakers. The only visible piece besides the mic, is the remote, which I placed near the mic (its a silver piece that blends well with the silver carbon fiber trim). It has a blue light and 4 white lit symbols that matches the car lighting.
As far as function, I keep my phone in my pocket. It automatically connects through bluetooth when I start the car. When I get a call, I push a button on the remote to receive the call. To make a call, I push the same button on the remote and speak the name of the person I'm calling (feature of my phone Sony-Ericsson T637). Almost completely handsfree.
As for the installation:
I tapped into the switched ignition power and constant 12v power from the wires leading to the fuse box. Ground was wired to a screw in the fuse box mount. These wires went into the control module. From the control module, 3 wires went to the stereo. A radio mute, telephone + and -. I put the control module under the stereo. There's a lot of room there.
Thats it. If anyone wants more detailed info let me know.
I'll post a pic when I get a chance to take the picture.
