you know something i thought is funny. the A3 is essentially a fancy golf that'll run close to 30k fully loaded.

this is a classic case of branding loyalty...you wouldn't hessitate (so you say) pay for a 30k Audi but wouldn't buy a similar Golf or would you?

I really like my speedlines. IIRC correctly a couple of the OEM Audi wheels are made by Speedline. I like having the 3 piece 2210 ones though so I can replace the lips. Thanks for looking out bro. I thought ahead and have a brand new spare in the garage in case I completely trash an entire rim and not just the lip. Thanks again. cheers! Mike

Yea, I just looked in the B6 wheel photo album and I was like oh totally different rim, oh well, I do not see speedlines on ebay tgat much so.

I hate looking for rims. I sold the SSR's to Shaner b/c I want 18's.

I have been looking into the OZ SL's, but I want the anthracite and they only have them in 18 X 9 it just seems too wide.

Still, I appreciate the heads up. They discontinued the 2210. Those SSR are so nice and light, but I agree those SL look much better. Silver is cool, but you gotta get what you like. cheers! mike

that shifter is long to minimize distance from steering wheel to shifter, just like in race cars because thats pretty much what that is. you can't drive a race car with just your left hand.
