How much should I be looking at to fix this? Im assuming I should replace the fender. The bumper looks fine.

around $200 for the fender ( genuinevwaudiparts.com)
paint probably $400-$500
You can replace that fender with a help of other person, no biggie.
and there is a washer fluid reservour behind that might be damaged (another $40)

Check your drivers side headlight too. Someone pulled a minor hit and run on me last month and it cracked my headlight. It was even more minor than yours just some paint scratching.

check on top of your head light there is this L looking piece that bolts the lights to the car on top mines both cracked i went to the dealer and they want 50$ to replace it

Mine cracked there as well as the inner mounting point closest to the grill.
That really sucks dude! People are so ignorant anymore...but FYL? Hardly.. I expected a destroyed car!
This happened to my old Jetta in front of my house, 1AM, no explanation, totaled.. we caught it before it spread.
Count your blessings! [:)] Things could've been worse!

My sister is in the intensive care unit right now, i had to deliver her there at 1 am. She got delivered to my house last night by a friend and wasnt breathing. I just spent the whole night there and went home for an hour to catch some z's and wake up to my alarm going off. She's on a ventilator and heavily sedated. Doctors are unsure if she will wake up and if there was any brain damage. Currently the CT scan showed no haemorrhaging so things might still be ok. Right now Im praying that she wakes up and things will be ok. Thats why FML.

Nice link to this website. Had no idea it was that easy to order parts.
this happend EXACTLY the same to my car....same place on the fender.
they could not roll the fender out to make it the perfect shape again (because there is a lip) so i got a whole new front pannel fender thing.....cost $1,500 w/paint...i got it done at a good auto body shop.
make sure your headlights are ok and the tabs did not break on them

That is awful to hear that about your sister bro, I hope everything ends up well.. I could not even imagine myself in that situation, Again I hope she makes a quick and healthy recovery, just hope for the best.

Figured I'd get the rear bumper fixed too (previous owner hurt it very lightly but it was something I managed to live with before)

Yeah. Super complicated. I dont even feel I have the full story. I feel like something sketchy went on. Im just glad I got her back.

They did an awesome job of blending! not to mention the driver side fender and driver side door wasnt really blended but the paint match is great!

Question... Tonight my Air Bag light came on... What does that mean? Its never happened before... The body shop told me that my rear seats needed to be removed to get at my rear bumper... Any thoughts gentlemen?

I got and update from the body shop that they only removed the backrests and not the whole seats and nothing needed to be unhooked. Any ideas why my air bag light came on?
It went away when my rear passengers got out...
