Hey Neil, can you check for us B8 S4 owners if their are two different part numbers for the water pump. It seems like the water pumps have been going on these cars and some say their is a new part that is made from metal instead of plastic. If this is the case then their should be two part numbers correct? Can you let us know if their is an updated part?

I got my TT225 injectors installed today and flashed from APR stage II to APR stage II+. On installing the injectors (exactly why I didn't do it myself) the guys at the shop informed me that the bleeder valve (resembling a schrader bike valve) on the fuel rail is not sealing properly and should be replaced. I called my local audi dealer and they have one for $50 (holy shit!) but wouldn't give me a P/N. I really, really, don't like those guys. First they boned me on the coilpack diagnosis, and now this.

So... do you have a P/N for a bleeder/pressure valve for a fuel rail? And possibly a purchasing source cheaper than $50 with a less-than 5 days lead time?

What the eff is with that?

Classic Audi is the shittiest (and the only) audi dealer I've ever been to, unfortunately. These are the same guys that failed to diagnose my ignition coil issues even after I experienced a severe misfire/cut power/ESP light/CEL at speed and had 3 pages of logs showing how I had misfires that followed around a particular coilpack. They then charged me $100 for a diagnosis, concluding that nothing was wrong with my car. When my car broke down a week later because that same coil failed, they refused to comp me for the previous week's obviously incorrect diagnosis as well as my towing charges, which I would never have incurred had they listened to me in the first place. I wrote a strongly-worded (but mostly polite) letter to Audi of America and they ended up picking up the tab on both counts where the dealer failed.

Horrible, horrible dealer. I spent at least 2 weeks and several hours on hold/on the phone talking to all their head service guys and the manager/owner trying to resolve that issue to no avail. Assholes.

The front bumper is not on clearance this is $526.00 and there is only 1 of these left in all of the NA parts depos before they go obsolete part # for the front is 8E0-071-609K-9AX

I am a new guy, just got on Audizine today. S4 2006. Looking to change front to DTM. Parts guys at dealers in my area are not great or very helpfull. Need the part number for the front DTM bumper cover. Also need to confirm if main front grill needs to be changed to fit DTM bumper cover. If so, what is the part number on that (and is it just one or many parts (on my previous 2003 A4, the front grill was 3 parts, main supprt, crest, chrome trim). The DTM bumper cover then needs 4 bottom grills, correct ? What are the part numbers for those (and I think they also come as a kit, is there a price advantage?). And does anyone have the cost price list for all the above, I think the dealer is trying to pay for his winter vacation out of my wallet on these parts :)

Can the chrome trim on the main grill of the DTM be swapped for brilliant black (like the one on the Titanium edition), if so, what is the part number ? and price ?

I saw on a tread that the DTM make you loose the fogs lights, but that an RS4 bottom grill can be modified to fit the DTM and keep the fogs.

The s4 came without the mags, so I have been looking around and I like the Type 12 from TSW (tirerack). I want the 19", but when I select it a note says that it will be a very tight fit and that some camber adjustment might be necessary. ShouldI be concerned or is that pretty straight forward to have done, any undesirable effects I should know about ?

First off welcome to Audizine great place to be great people in here with a lot of knoledge :)

Unfortuanatly this front DTM package has been discontinued since January or 2009 we can get replacement parts but only for accident cars we can not buy the complete package any more. Sorry I am unable to help with this one.

As for the wheel issue my advise to you is if they are to close for your liking I would get a 5mm spacer this you should not need longer bolts for.

Not to sure I really wouldn't want to try it though as if you run it and it doesn't work you will not be able to return it if gas has run through it.

So it turns out when the previous owner was installing the Toy Guy shifter I currently have, he lost the little white cap and spring inside the shifter base.

The spring is only about 1/3 of an inch in diam and about 2" in length and the white cap is rounded on one side and hollow.

Is it possible to purchase these parts separately or is there some sort of shifter rebuild kit available?

Car is an early 2000 model year S4.

I have a 2001 A4 1.8T transmission (DWR) that is missing the shifter linkage bracket, which secures the static shifter linkage to the transmission. I'm not sure if the bracket has a separate part number, or if I need the entire linkage. The junkyard pulled the tranny from VIN WAUDC68DX1A018064 if that helps

My Audi Dealer just happened to have this part in stock and so I tried putting it into my 2011 Avant Rear Armrest. It does not fit.
The length and width are okay but it's at least an inch too thick. As a result, the lid will not close.[:(]

I had that part in my B7 A4 (8D0-860-281C) and it's far too long for the opening in the B8 armrest.
Perhaps Audi quit making model specific First Aid Kits with the B8? Seems a shame. Oh well.[:/]

You could get them machined but the labour involved might be more than what the rotors are worth.

The front rotors are $174.00 and the pads are $87.00 and the rear rotors are $108.00 and the pads are $54.00.

As for labour we charge 109.95 per hour and the fronts would be 1.5 hours and the rears would be 2 hours so total labour would be $384.00.

If you did get these installed at a independent shop the parts warranty would not be affected at all.

All these prices above do not include taxes.

I'm looking for a set of four for a 2002. 5X100. I can get reps or reconditioned but I'd consider new OEM if the price is decent.
