Parents told me back home in OR they are all iced up. So i turned on the news to check things out since i know my mom makes a big deal about weather issues. Dam$ they close I-5 and i saw a Miata and a Metro bus doing 360s and crashing onto the curbs....

Wonder if Puget Sound will get some today ?

hey, i had a question for you people driving in the freezing rain...when you stepped on your brakes, could you step down completely on your brakes and come to an easy stop? or did your car kinda skid on the ice and not allow you to brake completely? mine didn't feel like i could brake all the way down, so i had to like pump my brakes...but i did manage to get home without any problems.

You CANNOT come to an easy stop in the ice lol !

No, you can't. Our ABS system takes over and you fell a pulse throu the pedal. You will stop, but not as soon as you might think. Keep a light foot on ice.
