Oscar, noticed you got the Dunlop R-comps on sale. How would you rate this tire vs. the Victoracers, for autoX/track day duty? ultimate grip? wear?

TIA

Hard to say at this point. We/I here at The Tire Rack have not had the chance to drive on them yet since we started stocking that model due to the weather here in South Bend.

However, at 1st glance they appear to be a well designed, well built R compound tire. But as you know, proof is on the clock.

Still I have not had the chance to test this tire, I can not really say. Hope you understand. Perhaps by this early spring we will have tested on our track.

Thank you,

Thanks for your honest feedback oscar, please expand on your comments re: weather in South Bend. is the Dunlop supposed to be for *cold weather* track driving or something like that??

We are in the middle of winter, and there is snow on our track, hence not testing it yet.

Also, when we first seen this model come into out inventory, the ambient temp was also too cold to test a "R" compound tire.

Clear as mud?
