Is there a problem with doing this sort of LED bulb (http://www.ledlight.com/9006-led-fog-light-18-5050-smd.aspx) for the fogs? Will it throw a code? I doubt heat will be an issue, the LEDs will most likely put out much less. Can it be brighter than regular fog bulbs?

While I'm not sure on the brightness, I know that on my B5, it will not throw a bulb out warning. The lamp out module on the B5 does not monitor the fogs. The only this on the front that it does monitor is the lows, nothing else.

won't work on the B8 unless it has resistors.

Poor output bulbs. Avoid if you can help it, unless you are just going for the looks.

We have them for $24 for the pair - not yet on the site, but in stock.

the question is though do they have resistors and will they give an lightout warning
