I just received my euro tt-s headlights and a paper said that they have to be installed by a dealer or with a vag-com if not the leveling motor would break the headlight? Is this true or is it just plug and play?
-Thanks in Advance

Yes, the beam aim must be set using VAG-COM, and an aiming target setup on a vertical wall. See instructions for aiming your headlights at http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/cars/xenonalignment.html

For instructions on setting up the aiming target, see: http://www.danielsternlighting.com/tech/aim/aim.html

After placing the headlights in the Basic Setting mode, the adjustment is performed using the manual adjustment screws on the top of the housings. To aim the vertical elevation, BOTH adjusters are turned equally, to aim the lateral horizontal aim only the inside adjusters are turned. Adjust the vertical elevation first.
