i don't have a digital camera with me, so i'll do my best to explain:
my buddy has a tt with the audi factory roof rack.
across each of the rails, there is a rubber seal that goes from end to end. you pull this back a little bit to insert the ski or bike rack assembly.
the question is: what do you do with that rubber seal when the racks are in place? do you cut it to accomodate the rack assemblies, or just leave it pulled out? or take it off completely?
he's worried that if he takes it off, water or snow will get into the channel and freeze.
