I was hoping to just buy a set of snow tires and swap them on/off my stock rims with the OEM tires, but a friend told me that he doesn't advise this as the tires (after 2-3 seasons) will start to stretch when they are taken on/off the rim.
So, now I am looking into getting a second set of rims (dedicated to my snow tires.) Someone is willing to sell me there OEM B5 S4 rims (17") for 450.
Can you guys/gals tell me if these will fit without hassle or if I need to stay with 18's. I'm not wanting to spend much on winter rims.
As for the tires, I am looking to get Pirelli Winter 240 235/40VR18.s
