Check e-bay. I have never understood why Audi went with DVD based system vice HHD[down]. This is the biggest reason why I did not purchase the RNS-E for my A4.

sheiss indeed...
I managed to find a 2007 for now. Stilll prowling for something newer.
im gonna try and make an image of the 2008 that the RNS-E can't read anymore and burn another copy and see if it works.
Also do you know what I need to change in VAG-com to get the directions to appear in the DIS. I never bothered changing this in the year that ive owned this unit.

wicked...I'll buy a 2008 or 2009/10 copy from you if you find it
as for Vag for turns in DIS, I'm not sure as my car came with RNSe and the turn by turn is already set up...search on the B7 S4 or the B7 A4 forum as the guys who aftermarket installed RNSe are often interested in that
edit: here...someone just did a VAG Com walk through DIY on a B6 (S4)

I found a source for 2009 DVD (copied), if anyone wants one it $50 local. Some AZ guys have tried and tested it.
