My friend recently bought an HID kit from a guy that needed money ($100 [eek] ). 8000k, but surprisingly perfectly white with NO color tint at all. They're also the brightest freaking HIDs I've ever seen in my life. I had a headache from looking at them for one second! BTW it's a '93 Civic painted fresco green (VW).
His JDM housings (plastic = bad?)

The people who did the machine work on his head effed up a valve seat and it broke in half. Threw itself through every piston... He just bought a Dart block to have sleeved for another 13.6:1 motor. The one that just blew was 13.3:1. Wicked fast.

He got the other wheels and some race tires today. We put on the hood and pushed it into the street for 30-some-odd photos. Enjoy! For more pictures of my buddy's EG hatch, go here: http://img78.photobucket.com/albums/v357/adamsonem/brian_121404/
