Yes and no, its 100 RON (Research Octane Number). In the US we use RON+MON (Motor Octane Number) /2. Or (RON+MON)/2. MON octane is about 10 points lower than RON. So (100+90)/2 = 95. So German 100 octane is equivalent to about 95 octane in the States...Still damn good gas though.

Ok, so I had to read that like 5 times to get it, but it does make sense now. So much for daily race gas mode, but 95 will be amazing in pump gas mode. Very nice! What's the cost?

Here ya go. Its 1,44 Euro a liter for 98, 1,50 Euro for 100 Octane. Thats about $7.80 a gallon i think.[:(]

Yup gas is expensive over here. Might be time for u 2 invest in a meth kit. Works wonders.

we had the octane issue in a b7 thread some time ago, 98oct in germany is like 93 in us.
Driving around with the car here is an expensive hobby...

if you go with mirascon it's only 75 euros a month for insurance, full coverage!!!!
