Have you seen many other Rs6's around boston?
I see a couple around Boston. I think it's the same cars everytime. Don't see them often enough though.
Funny thing.
For a while I was telling a few co-workers about how the RS6 is a limited production car. Just so luck would have it, the CEO of a company that sub-lets space from us decided to get an Avus Silver one. So now in our company's parking lot there are 2 RS6s.
Of the 50+ cars that use our lot daily, only the RS6 is doubled. Some nice machines on the lot, but all different from each other.
So much for limited production I guess!

Its still pretty rare in my eyes! How many are made a year?
For the US there were about between 900-1100 cars that were available in 2003. The car does not pass emissions for 2004, thus never imported. It was a one time deal in 2003 only.
For Europe, they were made from end of 2002 - mid 2004. This includes about 900 RS6+ cars that were made in 2004 only, and only in Avant form.
Total RS6 cars worldwide, including the RS6+, was close to 9000 vehicles. I think about 200 cars shy of that number.

I really love the way your car looks in those pics. Its funny to see this post becasue i just got to drive an RS6 Tuesday night. It had an MTM chip and cat back exhaust on it. Ohhhh that exaust! I got to put about 50 miles on that beast. Wow that thing is fast but very very smooth. Its very a deceiving car. I felt very lucky to be able to have the chance to drive it. I work at the nations biggest audi dealer and i am one of the few lucky employees to ever get to drive one. Well your a lucky man!!!!

nene... I think weve met before... were you at the race strip in epping NH this summer at all... for the audi get together??? are you an older gentleman with a wife and two kids??? I dont know, maybe it was another RS6... but theyre rare, so i figured I would ask... Very sexy car indeed!

have you ever contemplated clearing out the amber in your housing? i think it would make it look even better.
I've tried doing the clear corner mod. The amber reflector is now glued to the glass, thus the breaking of the clips no longer set it loose. You can remove them, but you have to use heat gun to separate the housing. I don't want to do that as I don't have a heat glue gun.
I have ordered Euro housings. They should be here soon.
I'm not married and I have no kids, yet! You must have met another RS6 owner, as I did not go to Epping at all this past year. Maybe next year.
