What is a good all-season tire to get? I can't afford to spend a whole lot, but something in the range of $200-$300 for 4 tires.

the size I have now are 205/55 R16

Look at the Sumitomo HTR+ for $66.00 each. Think that would be a very good tire based upon your guide lines.
