Alright, here it goes: i have a b7 s4 and bought my wife a black on black q5 a month ago.... and guess what? I! like the q5 more than my s4 now!!.... so now thinking of trading it for an s-line q5..... but... is q5 really designed to be a "girly" SAV or what? what do you think folk?

don't get two Q5s, be a baller and get a a5/s5/Q7

yes Q5 is for girls/***s only

just kidding...I love the Q5. I prefer an Avant to an Suv, otherwise I would have bought a Q5 last week when making our final decision. Came down to Q5, B8 A4 Avant, Lexus RX400h

Q5 is a great looking vehicle that is well priced/packaged

I think the Q5 is gorgeous - I'm definitely not ashamed driving one. [:D]

Although I like it a lot, I don't think you need 2 Q5's in the stable. A S5 or STaSIS A5 would be a nice addition tho [cool]

Get the B8 Avant or wait for the B8 S4.

p.s. you must prefer to ride, than to drive, if you like the Q5 better than your B7 S4 (i.e. you prefer the modern gadgetry in the B8 cars). I did extensive test driving of the Q5 and even with the 3.2 engine, life was so much better when I stepped back into my S4. Night and day.

no, in fact - i love driving, but my life consists of sitting in frkin traffic for one hour in am and one in pm every day pretty much... so, at this point i think i need something automatic (1st time in my life), but still reasonable... also considering x5 4.8i, but they are a bit pricey

I got to drive the Q5 on Saturday, I was really impressed with the way it handled the autocross track. Not what I expected for a Cross-over vehicle, even if it is based on the A4. Loved the interior, engine was decent, but I would need a 6 Speed manual; I don't like automatics. S-Lines look sweet.
